Ragdoll Kittens for Sale Near Me
We are in Sedona, Arizona, and our kittens go home to families across the country. This page answers the question behind the search: how near we are to you, how a kitten travels, and what it costs. If you are in Arizona, this is your page.
Where we are
Sedona, Arizona, about two hours north of Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX). Arizona families collect in person. For everyone else, PHX has nonstop service to every state on this site, and a kitten of ours can be in your arms the same day it leaves our house. There is no quarantine and no permit for a cat traveling between states; a health certificate from our vet travels with the kitten.
The three ways a kitten travels
Every kitten leaves from the same room, whether it is going to Phoenix or to Philadelphia, and it goes one of three ways.
A flight nanny brings the kitten to you
Your kitten flies from Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) with a flight nanny who carries it in the cabin and hands it to you at your airport. A Ragdoll kitten flies in the cabin under the seat in front of you, never in cargo. Airlines charge a pet fee for the carrier and limit how many travel on each flight, so the booking is made ahead. The nanny stays with the kitten the whole way, which is why this is the option most out-of-state families choose. Never in cargo, never on a connecting flight, never left overnight.
You fly in and carry the kitten home
Fly into Phoenix, meet us and your kitten, and carry it home in the cabin on your return flight. You meet the kitten before it travels, it never leaves your care, and it costs a ticket and the airline's pet fee rather than a nanny's day. Phoenix is a hub, so a same-day return is easy from most of the country.
Ground transport
A licensed ground transporter drives your kitten to your door in a climate-controlled vehicle, which suits families who would rather not fly a kitten at all. It takes days rather than hours, so it suits some routes and not others, and we will tell you honestly which yours is.

The part that catches people out
Heat and cold at the ends of the trip. Airlines refuse pets when the ramp temperature is outside their limits, which in July means Phoenix mornings only, and in January means a warm car waiting in Minneapolis. The second is timing: a kitten leaves us from 12 weeks, and never in the same week as a vaccination. The third is the carrier: airlines set the size that fits under their seats, and it is worth buying the right one before the date is booked.
What it costs
The kitten is $800, whatever the color or sex, with everything on this list. A $400 deposit holds your kitten and comes off the $800. It transfers to another kitten if you change your mind about which one. If you cannot go ahead at all, $300 of it is refunded. Travel is quoted for your address before you commit, and never bundled into the price. We would rather you knew the whole figure before you fell for a kitten than after.
What is tested
Both parents are DNA tested for HCM and PKD, the two inherited conditions the breed is known for. Beyond that, every kitten is seen by our vet, vaccinated and wormed for its age, microchipped and registered in your name. The cats behind the kittens.
What we ask of out-of-state families
A phone call before anything is booked. Someone at home for the first few days. Flexibility on the date if the weather moves the flight. And a message when the kitten is asleep on the sofa that first night.
